Summertime is finally here!

Fishing has been great so far this summer with Redfish, Sea-trout, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Sharks, and even Cobia in the mix sometimes with the right length of trip. Tarpon are starting to show up as well and may be the right choice for the avid anglers who book longer fishing trips. Most of the time we have been fishing inshore with live shrimp catching Redfish, Flounder, and Trout. If the weather permits we may go try and find some Jack Crevalle, these fish are a blast. They fight hard and make for a great picture.

We should expect to see all of these species stick around for several months, this is the best time of year to come out if you want variety. We have numerous fish we could target along with many different types of bait available to catch as well. Summer time is truly our favorite for this reason as it is fun to be able to switch things up while you are on your fishing trip.

We are now able to do more sight fishing on our trips as well with the new boat from Xplor Boatworks, they built a boat for us this spring and it has far exceeded expectations and can do just about anything you want it to. It has a second driving station in the tower making it a great boat for sight fishing, it can also still get plenty shallow when we are chasing redfish and it handles the waves in the ocean like a champ. It is outfitted with all of the latest and greatest technology so when you are on your trips you will not waste any time messing with anchors or trying to get the boat set up just right.
